Doctors in Dresden terminate warning strike: VKA offer ensures outrage!

Städtisches Klinikum Dresden, Deutschland - The collective bargaining between the Marburger Bund and the VKA got into a new crisis on November 15, 2024! The fifth round of negotiations ended without agreement and the anger of the doctors is great. Torsten Lippold, first chairman of the Marburg Federation of Saxony, left no doubt that the VKA offer was "no offer - that is an affront". On November 28 from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, the doctors will enter the warning strike at the Dresden Städtische Klinikum, which will lead to massive restrictions in patient care - except for the children's clinic and the clinic for hematology, oncology and palliative medicine!

The employers have submitted a completely inadequate offer: After a nine -month zero round, salaries should only increase by a ridiculous 2 percent from April 2025, followed by further minimal increases. "It won't even compensate for the inflation," criticized Lippold sharply. In addition, the VKA only plans a one -time payment of 500 euros as a "compensation" for the long dry spell without increasing salary. The doctors are frustrated and ready to fight!

doctors stand together!

As early as September 16, 2024, there was a first warning strike, which significantly impaired the planned treatments. "The VKA provokes - we are reacting!" Explained Franziska Kulling, member of the state board of the MB Saxony. The dissatisfaction among doctors is noticeable and participation in the upcoming strike will be high. Felix Mittag, doctor at the municipal clinic, emphasized that employers only play temporarily and do not offer serious improvements in working conditions. In order to ensure emergency care during the strike, the Marburg Bund has proposed an emergency service agreement.

In the first half of the December, the members of the Marburg Federation will decide in a nationwide primary vote as to whether they will start the new year with an indefinitely enforced strike. The demands are clear: a linear salary increase of 8.5 percent, reforms in shift work and better fees for on -call services. The doctors fight for their rights - and they are ready to give everything!
