Accident on A4: traffic jam chaos between Dresden and Chemnitz!

Dresden. A spectacular accident on the A4 between Dresden and Chemnitz caused massive traffic disruptions on Thursday morning! At 6 a.m. a car crashed into a van, and in the middle of a construction site area. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the police were used for hours to clarify the situation.

The episodes were devastating: Almost four hours after the accident, the police were still there, and the drivers had to adjust to a traffic jam of incredible twelve kilometers! Although a road was released shortly after 8 a.m., traffic remained severely impaired. The ADAC reported a time loss of at least one hour, and the side streets over Meißen were overloaded - a nightmare for commuters!

But that wasn't all! A traffic jam of eight kilometers also formed in the opposite direction, between the triangle Nossen and the Wilsdruff junction. The nerves of the drivers were blank as they were waiting for a solution at a standstill. A day that many would certainly like to forget as soon as possible!
