Paris, Frankreich - Paris is in the turmoil! The legendary Mireille Mathieu, icon of hit music, enters the stage for the last big international tour of her life. With a meaningful title-"Goodbye My Love Goodbye"-the 78-year-old makes it clear at the beginning of her tour in Chemnitz, Germany: It could be the end of a chapter. But don't panic! In an interview with the German Press Agency, she explains that although this is the last big tour, short guest tours are still on the program. "But I no longer do longer tours," she confirms in an urgent voice.

Why this withdrawal? Quite simply: the age brings changes! Mireille wants to reduce the pace in order to be able to devote more creative projects. "More time for me," she says, adding that this also offers the opportunity to work on new compositions. Germany is the first stop in Europe of its anniversary tour! Mireille has a special connection to this country that offered her the stage for many of her legendary appearances. In 1969 she sang in German for the first time and landed hits that still stay in the ear to this day. Memories become awake when she speaks to Peter Alexander and Florian Silbereisen for over time together - "wonderful friendships", she says with a smile. It becomes particularly emotional when she sings her song "Maman, do it La Plus Belle du Monde" in Germany, devoted to her late mother, who has always been a loyal companion.

The tour continues Mireille to Prague and Bratislava, while Russia is no longer on the program since the war. She stays back on political issues: "You only talk about drones and rockets," she says. Despite her connections to the Russian fans, including even Vladimir Putin, she remains an artist and just wishes for peace. A big appearance that not only awakens memories, but also deeply touched!
