Radeberg in concern: closes a department store, threatens new eyesore?

Radeberg. The closure in Radeberg causes a sensation! The loss meets people in the Radeberg southern suburb. It's not just about local supply - the question of the future of the building hovers like a shadow over the community. Is the construction faced with decay and threatens to become an eyesore?

In the background the owner, an older gentleman from Dresden, acts and pulls the threads for a possible comeback of the building. Harald Grüninger, the managing director of the Real Estate Service Radeberg, gives exciting insights: "It doesn't matter to the owner, if you are moving in - retail or another company, everything is conceivable." But the challenge remains for larger food chains: 450 square meters are simply too little!

new perspectives for the department store

But there is hope! Grüninger even speaks of the possibility to increase the building. "We could create more space with that, but the parking problem remains a challenge," he explains. Perhaps an innovative overall solution with the adjacent low building, which among other things houses a pharmacy and a kebab shop, could be developed to revive the area.

The owner is ready to sell the building, and the rental price is interesting at six euros per square meter. Interested parties are already in line, but Grüninger remains careful: "I can't say any specific things yet." What will become of the department store? The Radeberger are excited!
