Kamenz. In downtown Kamenz, the resentment is bubbling! The garbage disposal has had massive problems in the past few weeks, and residents are anything but enthusiastic. The tons of Friday and Saturday round in particular often stopped on the sidewalks for days. "Sometimes they were not picked up by Tuesday," complain annoyed citizens who complain about inadequate communication. There were indications of the app that there could be delays, but that helped those affected little.

The Situation is particularly precarious in the old town, where tight sidewalks make the picking up of the tons a real challenge. "The bins block footpaths for strollers and passers-by. We had to put them in and out several times without knowing how long the collection would take," reports the Schaf family frustrated. The instruction of leaving the tons easy is met with little understanding.
