Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, 06120 Halle (Saale), Deutschland - An exciting event is imminent! On November 6, 2024, the UKH clinical ethics committee invites you to the ethics lunch, which deals with the explosive topics of childcare law and the emotional questions about patient decisions. Under the provocative title "Would Mr. Müller have (still) wanted this therapy?" the event will offer deep immersion in the ethical and legal aspects of health care.
The event takes place as part of the Wednesday training of the Department of Internal Medicine and is aimed at doctors: inside, nursing, PJ students and everyone who is involved in patient care. After an insightful keynote speech by the experts Dr. iur. Kim Philip Linoh and Prof. Dr. med. Jan Schildmann will have the opportunity to exchange drinks and snacks. Here the participants can share their thoughts and questions about the challenges in everyday clinical practice.

The clinical ethics committee has set itself the goal of regularly illuminating ethical and legal questions that arise in everyday clinical practice. These discussions are not only important for the specialists, but also for everyone interested who want to learn more about the decision -making in the healthcare system. The event is certified by the Saxony-Anhalt Medical Association and admission is free-registration is not required!
The food and drinks are provided so that all participants can discuss in a relaxed atmosphere.
