Neustadt starts groundbreaking telenotarz system for Halle and the surrounding area!
in Halle (Saale) started the test phase of an innovative telenota system on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. This initiative aims to improve the emergency medical care for around 560,000 people in the city of Halle as well as in the adjacent Saalekreis and district of Mansfeld-Südharz. The starting shot were high -ranking representatives, including Dr. Judith Marquardt, deputy for culture and sport, and Dr. Tamara Zieschang, Minister of the Interior of Saxony-Anhalt, present.
The telenotarz system is operated from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the rescue control center "An der Feuerwache" in Neustadt. A telenotic doctor is available here to offer emergency services immediate support for the emergency services. For the project, several hospitals in the region, including the BG Clinic Bergmannstrost Halle and the University Hospital Halle, have provided qualified medical staff.
unique pilot project
Dr. Judith Marquardt emphasized the importance of the new system: "The new telenotic system can mean a real profit for people in Halle (Saale) and in the region. I would like to thank all partners." The technical basis of the telenotarz center in Neustadt is modern, which is intended to ensure efficient support for the emergency services.
The pilot project is carried out over a period of two years, with a possible extension option. It is scientifically accompanied by the university medicine at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. In this context, a total of 52 ambulances and 10 emergency medical vehicles are available to the emergency services in order to cover the need for care of the almost 560,000 inhabitants.
The introduction of the telenotarz system corresponds to an important step in the development of medical emergency care and shows how modern technology can be used to optimize life rescue and medical support in critical situations. The commitment of the partners involved is crucial to ensure the effectiveness of the system and ensure that patients receive the help required as soon as possible.
at a time when efficiency and speed in the medical supply landscape are required, Halle relies on innovative solutions with this pilot project. The telenotarz system could not only significantly shorten the answers to urgent medical questions, but also minimize risks during operations. This could contribute to improving patient care and security in the long term.
The project participants are optimistic that the results of the test phase will provide valuable insights into the functionality and benefits of the telenotarz system. In the coming months, it will be observed how this new type of supply system will be implemented in practice and which feedback comes from the emergency services and the treating supplementary facilities. The hope is that the concept can serve as a model for other regions that have similar challenges in medical emergency care.
