Books, fishing and tradition: Magdeburg's weekend full of highlights!

An exciting weekend is imminent! In Magdeburg there are several events that make the heart beat faster. The annual book flea market of the Lions Club is an absolute must for all book lovers. On Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can rummage on the Allee Center on the 1st floor and get great bargains. The proceeds will go to the Network Free Culture and the volunteer agency. Admission prices are not known - just drop by!

For the fishing fans among you: The Magdeburg fishing day attracts the exhibition halls on Saturday and Sunday! With over 80 exhibitors and the famous professional angler Barbara ‘Babs’ Kijewski, this event becomes a paradise for everyone who share the passion for fishing. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be everything to discover around fishing rods and accessories. Entry costs 13 euros, reduced 9 euros, and admission is free for children up to 6 years!

mineral exchange and Martin parade

The 58th Magdeburg mineral exchange and exchange day takes place in the Amo Culture House on Sunday. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., nature lovers can admire and exchange the miracles of the earth. Entry is only 3 euros - a real bargain for all mineral fans!

and not to forget: the Martins parade in Gerwisch! The parish begins on Friday from 4 p.m., followed by the festive move at 5 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the Firebabes and Firegirls with their dances provide a spectacular show. With waffles, sausages and children's punch around the campfire, all traditions can celebrate and spend a great time with neighbors and friends. Admission is free of charge - so come over and enjoy the evening!

Last but not least: The hobby and creative market in Jerichow on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the community center. Here creative minds can present their works of art and handmade products. Whether painting, woodwork, jewelry or textile art - every creative expression is welcome. Admission prices are not known, so let yourself be inspired!
