Digital transformation: Rems-Murr-Kreis wins innovation price 2024!

Friesach, Österreich - The digital revolution hits waves! At this year's award of the Axian Infoma Innovation Award 2024, which was awarded by the Ulm software company for the twelfth time, the topics of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) were in the spotlight. From a variety of applications, two groundbreaking projects for digitization of administrative processes and an innovative AI project showed.

The big winner? The district assembly-Rems-Murr-Kreis-Immobilien-Management GmbH from Baden-Württemberg! The jury convinced their outstanding work in digital damage management and secured first place. Professor Dr. Jens Weiß from the Harz University of Applied Sciences praised the "holistic optimization and digitization of a core process in building management", which not only increases efficiency but also quality. The municipality of Friesach from Austria and the GFA Lüneburg from Lower Saxony were honored as finalists, both of which shone with impressive projects for digitization and AI use.

The municipality of Friesach conquered the first finalist place with its "comprehensive digitization and automation of administrative processes", which ranges from the inbox to dual decision. The GFA Lüneburg impressed with its AI-based approach to analyzing mass documents, which enables significant savings. The jury was enthusiastic about the use of the Infoma Smart Add-on to identify the AI text.
