Saar-Hochwald: 7,600 euros for boards-help for needy secured!

Saarlouis, Deutschland - The Caritas Foundation Saar-Hochwald has taken a significant step to support the boards in Saarland. A total of 7,600 euros were collected, which are specifically distributed to different locations. This initiative not only shows solidarity in Rhineland-Palatinate, but also underlines the important role that these social institutions play with the support of needy.

The precious donation amounts comes from a targeted foundation mailing, which was sent to private individuals in 2023. The donation checks were handed over to the Caritas Association in Saarlouis, where several important representatives of Caritas were present. Among them were Peter Metzdorf, the board of the foundation, and Caritas director Frank Kettern. The boards in Dillingen, Waders (with the Losheim issue), Saarlouis and Lebach were supported. Each of these locations receives 1,900 euros in order to effectively continue the important work of food output to the needy people.

commitment to the boards

In a solemn ceremony, the checks of Peter Metzdorf and his colleagues were handed over to the representatives of the boards in the district of Saarlouis. Both Eberhard Ritsch and Stephan Sommer from the Dillingen Tafel and Thomas Schirra von der Tafel Lebach were present. In addition, Hans-Joachim Darkel and Adelheid Schumacher received a means of money in Saarlouis, and Albert Kuhn and Rita Lesch from the Tafel for the district of Merzig-Wadern were also happy about the support.

"We are always happy when the foundation can help people in need," said Peter Metzdorf during the handover. These words reflect the deep commitment that the Caritas Foundation has in the region. Caritas director Frank Kettern also emphasized the outstanding work of the tablets: "The foundation's board of trustees thanks them for the valuable work that they do every week and beyond."

The tables are an indispensable support for many people who have become a precarious living environment due to economic difficulties. The donation is a sign of recognition and appreciation for the daily commitment of the volunteers who are tirelessly committed to distributing foods to those they need. Such initiatives not only provide financial support, but also set a strong sign of community and solidarity that gives many hope and strengthens the social infrastructure.

The entire commitment of the Caritas Foundation and the tables in Saar-Hochwald is of great importance, not only because of the financial support, but also through the effect that such actions have on the community as a whole. It is to be hoped that the positive impulses that have arisen from this fundraiser will continue to be an incentive for further aid measures and commitment to the needy.
