Annual financial statements in the Schmelzer brewery: hiking friends celebrate success!

Schmelz, Deutschland - The hiking group "Kilorfresser" from Schmelz recently celebrated the annual celebration in the Schmelzer brewery. Chairman Gerhard Laux welcomed around 50 members and took the opportunity to look back on the numerous activities of the past year. Particularly noteworthy was his own popular migration in June, which, however, recorded an unfortunate decline in the number of participants, which, according to Laux, has an impact on the association's financing structure. The committed members are required for the coming season to continue to support the projects, such as Wochenspiegelonline.de reported.

honors and statistics

The celebration also included the honor of long -standing members. Among the honored were Ursula Drewlo, Vera Emmerich and Inge Jochem for ten years of club affiliation, Martin Offholz and Gabriele Thome for twenty years and Thomas Bauer, who has been active for 50 years. The hikers Elmar Meiser, Marko and Carmen Kleber were honored for their numerous participations. In an impressive balance sheet, the association found that this year they were able to take part in 54 hikes in Saarland and neighboring regions and recorded a total of 934 starting reports. In addition, the two youngest active hikers, Ben (31) and Max (26) glue, as well as the oldest active hiker Aloysius Berg (25 participation) received trophies for their commitment. These statistical successes underline the popularity of the group, such as dvv-wander

After a dinner together, the hiking attendants Heiner Altpeter and Elmar Meiser looked back on an active hiking year and thanked all members and drivers for their tireless efforts. The hiking season ends with the traditional New Year's Eve hike, while the IVV 2025 will take place again in the Primshalle Schmelz on June 29th.
