Schweich's football miracle: nine goals and a great comeback victory!
A gripping duel on the Irscher Lärchenweg captivated around 150 spectators when the TuS Mosella Schweich II celebrated a dramatic 6: 3 victory against SV Trier-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-URSCH. The guests from Schweich started with a bang: Jörn Mathis Molnar netted after 28 seconds and set a new season record. But the joy did not last long, because Irsch was fighting and turned the game with three goals between the 16th and 31st minute. Christoph Nickl and Sebastian Szimayer were the heroes of the first half and made a 3-2 lead.
Schweich's catch -up
Before half -time, Molnar made the connection and André Schwarz equalized after the change of sides. "The goals were important for our head," emphasized TuS coach Patrick Quary, who praised his team's mental upswing. From this point on, the guests took control of the game. Philipp Seeberger brought Schweich 4: 3 in the lead, and Levi Agbor put together a double pack in the final phase, which made the victory perfect. Quary was pleased with the performance of his team and the tactical adjustments that led to more stability.
The Irscher, on the other hand, had to deal with their defensive performance. Player coach Sebastian Szimayer blamed the lack of training participation. "If only ten players train, it is no wonder that we lose," complained Szimayer. The uncertainty in the team is noticeable, and the last five games ended up anything but pleasing for Irsch. A new player, Leonel Nana Yomba, debuted for Schweich and could be the key to a stronger future.
