This Saturday, November 9th, the city of Trier becomes the setting for a spectacular exercise of the police! On the Grüneberg, a strategically important site, the emergency services of the Trier police headquarters train together with special units and the negotiating group of the State Criminal Police Office. The professional fire brigade Trier is also part of the party to prepare for an emergency.

The exercise takes place on the grounds of the Bundeswehr military service and attracts numerous police forces in the areas of Aveler Tal and Trier-Kürzenz. Residents and passers -by should prepare for an increased police presence. During the exercise, shots with bright ammunition are given, which can also be heard outside the practice area. This serves the realistic simulation of operational scenarios and is intended to optimally prepare the emergency services for possible crisis situations.
