A mysterious fire caused excitement in Idar-Oberstein on October 31, 2024, at 9:47 p.m. In a parking lot on Weierbacher Strasse, near the train station, an advertising tarpaulin ignited that was tensioned on a trailer. Eyewitnesses report on a darkly dressed person who took care of the trailer before the tarpaulin suddenly went up in flames.
