Terrible accident on B 419: Sattel tractor collides with a car!

A dramatic traffic accident shook the B 419 between waves and Temmels on Monday, November 18, 2024, around 6:30 p.m. A saddle tractor and a car collided during an overtaking maneuver when both vehicles drove in the same direction. The result? Total damage to the car, but fortunately the driver was unharmed!

The collision, however, had serious consequences for the truck. The tank was damaged so badly that several liters of diesel ran onto the road and created a dangerous situation. The fire brigades from Nittels, Temmels and waves, an ambulance, an emergency doctor as well as the Saarburg road maintenance department and the Saarburg police inspection were alerted to control the situation.

The affected section of the B 419 was completely closed due to the accident recording and the subsequent road cleaning. The emergency services worked quickly to remove the danger site and release the road again. The situation was tense, but the rescue workers were quickly there to prevent worse things.
