Speyer sets signs: flags rip against violence on women and children
On Monday, November 25th, Speyer will set a powerful sign against violence! On the occasion of the international day to eliminate violence against women, flags are raised with the haunting slogan "freely living without violence". The city raises the voice for women and girls who suffer from gender -specific violence. Mayor Monika Kabs (CDU) emphasizes the urgency of the topic, especially in the context of the current situation in Iran. "It is essential to show cohesion and encourage affected women to take advantage of help," she explains.

On Monday evening at 7 p.m. there will be an exciting valley round on the subject of "Women's rights in focus: Iran and Germany - a dialogue about freedom and democracy".
