Carnival start in Speyer: Megan I rules the fools!

Speyer, Deutschland - An unforgettable evening in Speyer! On 11.11. At 7:33 p.m., the Speyer Carnival Society (SKG) started the new carnival campaign with a magnificent festival. The hall in the fully occupied Philipp Eins was electrifying from the start when SKG President Eva Wöhlert, including the honorary president Daoud Hattab and delegations from the UN Waldsee and from TV Kaiserfunken, welcomed. The mood was at the peak through the musical accompaniment of Dieter Gaschott!

The program, moderated by Martina Groeger, began with a rousing guard dance by the imperial sparks. An emotional moment followed when Janina I was adopted as a SKG princess-tears of the emotion flowed, but she is retained to the club as a trainer and member of the new singing group "Plan Beat". The tension rose when the new princess was to be enthroned. Edeltraud Magdalena Ida Mornhinweg, who applied as a 88-year-old princess, unfortunately had to be rejected due to her age. Instead, Megan I was crowned by Janina I.

an evening full of highlights!

An absolute Highlight of the evening was the Sketsch SKG TV, written and moderated by Susanne Kühner, who delighted the audience with a mix of different TV programs. The actors Sonja Konrad, Markus Prosch and Deana Collmann received thunderous applause! Mig Grohmann had created a new text for the famous song "at 66 years" by Udo Jürgens for the anniversary campaign, but Dieter Gaschott jumped in for him and delivered a great performance.

Horst Kapp reflected on princesses and praised the choice of Megan I as the new princess. To the crowning glory, the new vocal group Plan Beat heated up to the audience with fantastic songs, and an encore was inevitable! With the final song "Heit Nacht gave through", the guests celebrated the successful start to the campaign. An evening that will go into history!
