In the Rhein-Palatinate district there are exciting news for everyone who works in the housekeeping area. The Volkshochschule Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis (VHS) will offer a course from March 10, 2025, which enables professionals to catch up on its conclusion as a "housekeeper". Details on the course

In order to be able to take part in the course, the participants must be active in the domestic area and have at least 4.5 years of professional experience at the time of the final exam. The lessons will take place on Monday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Rudolf-Wihr Realschule Plus in Limburgerhof and partly in the VHS education center in Schifferstadt. The final examination is scheduled for autumn/winter 2026.

The content of the course is based on the reorganization of the training profession Housekeeping, which came into force on August 1, 2020. With the conclusion, the participants can not only improve their professional promotion opportunities, but also increase their income. The entire fee for the course is 1870 euros, whereby a payment in installments and possible grants can be used via the Quality Change program.

For those who want to qualify, the VHS also plans to prepare for the master's examination in housekeeping, with the next course that begins in autumn 2025.
