An exciting weightlifting event is imminent! On Saturday, from 9.30 a.m., the best talents from Rhineland-Palatinate in Altrip gather for the excessive youth championship. The AV 03 Speyer sends six of his outstanding athletes into the race, including the promising Zoe Klein in the weight class up to 25 kg and the talented siblings Wadim and Daniel Gormakow, which compete in classes up to 73 kg and 81 kg

The competition is getting hard because the four best athletes of each club fight for the title of the team champion. Frank Hinderberger, the department head of the AV, particularly emphasizes the Gormakow brothers, which are trained by Zoltán Balazsfi. "They are the greatest talents of Rhineland-Palatinate," enthuses Hinderberger, indicating the high expectations that are linked to the young athletes.
