Accident on B260: 72-year-old and 29-year-old slightly injured!

Obertiefenbach, Deutschland - A dramatic accident shook the Bäderstraße (B260) at the Obertiefenbach/Bettendorf intersection shortly after 4 p.m. A 72-year-old man from the Rhein-Lahn district wanted to turn from the K50 to Bäderstrasse when there was a serious collision. Probably because of carelessness, he crashed with a 29-year-old VW golf driver who was traveling towards Singhofen.

The collision led to injuries to both drivers and their respective occupants, which fortunately were only slightly injured. The older driver was immediately taken to a hospital while the police brought the situation under control. The two vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the crash and had to be towed. There were numerous units of the fire brigade of the Nastätten Association, the emergency services and the police, who were quickly on hand to provide first aid and to secure the scene of the accident.
