90 years of Heymann: From bicycle to family empire in Nastätten!
NASTÄTTEN – A proud anniversary is being celebrated! Gebrüder Heymann GmbH in Nastätten looks back on 90 years of innovation and tradition. Founded in 1934 by Karl Heymann in the small town of Geisig, it all began with a modest bicycle that served as a means of transport for painting supplies. These beginnings reflect the unwavering ambition and vision of the founder, who used his craft skills to make a living in a time full of challenges.
But the path wasn't always easy! The Second World War presented the company with major challenges when Karl Heymann was reported missing in 1943. But in the 1950s, his son Helmuth took over the business and together with his brother Herbert they laid the foundation for new growth. With a clear focus on technological advances, such as the installation of a paint booth in the 1960s, the company developed from a small craft business into a versatile provider of painting and varnishing techniques.
A company on the move
The expansion of Gebrüder Heymann GmbH continued in the following decades. From the design and painting of vehicles to advertising lettering, the company has proven its adaptability time and time again. The projects for Bundesliga clubs and international customers are particularly impressive, such as the painting of medical buses for the United Arab Emirates. Today the company employs over 130 people and offers a wide range of services, from automotive repairs to construction and industrial painting.
The 90th anniversary was duly celebrated! Over 350 well-wishers and companies came to the anniversary celebration in a festive setting at the company location. The Heymanns themselves stepped into the background and paid tribute to the long-standing employees who have been part of this success story for over 50 years. The celebration was a sign of the solidarity and family atmosphere that characterize the company. A lavish celebration that marks the start of the next 100 years of Heymann - a story that hopefully never ends!
