Pirmasens, Deutschland - Pirmasens recently experienced a significant change through two central developments in the Kunstverein. On the one hand, an important milestone was celebrated in the renovation of the historical pavilion in the Neufferpark. A topping -out ceremony took place on December 6th, at which Frederic Krämer, the new chairman of the art association, presented around 50 guests the progress of the renovation measures. The roof of the pavilion, which was in a high level of renovation, has now been renewed according to original dimensions. The roof work should be completed by the end of the year, followed by an interior design in the coming year. In parallel to the structural advances, a remarkable generation change in the Kunstverein also takes place. Maximilian van de Sand, who worked as a chairman for 23 years, handed over the business to the 42-year-old Frederic Krämer. The official change took place during the annual general meeting, where the entire executive board was also re -elected. From now on, the Pirmasens artist Klaus Kadel-Magin supports the new leadership, while Isabelle Faul and Dominik Tretter take over the writing and cash management. Van de Sand will continue to be active on the advisory board.
