Murder case in Pirmasens: parents charged with daughter-roulette!

In a cruel murder of Pirmasens, Rhineland-Palatinate, the Mainz public prosecutor has raised charges against the parents of a 15-year-old daughter. Hassan M. (40) and Maryam M. (34) are accused of having killed their daughter Roqia in an insidious act. The incident occurred six months ago when the girl's body was discovered in mid -June 2024 on the banks of the Rhine in Worms.

In the investigation, it turned out that Roqia was made by her mother with narcotics. On June 15, 2024, her daughter's mother administered two tablets, which put Roqia in a helpless state. The parents then drove with her to Worms-Rheindürkheim, where she gave her further medication. According to the indictment, the mother Roqia put a scarf around her neck while her father choked her until she was unconscious. Roqia died of drowning in combination with effects of violence against the neck, an autopsy confirmed bleeding on the neck muscles as well as bruises on the upper body and on the limbs.

The public prosecutor is convinced that the parents accessed their daughter's lifestyle due to dissatisfaction. Religious or cultural motifs were not the main motive for the murder. After the incident, the mother reported to the police and pointed out her husband as a suspected perpetrator. The father had already become known to his wife by several acts of violence.

The two defendants are currently in custody.
