Martin parades in Bingen: tradition, music and sweet wake -up dolls!
The Martins procession, a tradition that put children and families in the city of Bingen in October and early November in a happy handicraft and anticipation. This beautiful tradition, in which lanterns and musical accompaniment are the focus, attracts many people every year and brings a special atmosphere to the city. Mayor Thomas Feser joyfully commented on the upcoming celebrations that are reminiscent of the city patron and lead through the streets with colorful lanterns.
The Martin riders Tanja Berger and Jana Gatzka will play a central role this year by leading the eight removals in the districts on November 7th and 8th. As usual, the city donates the popular wake -up dolls, which are joyfully distributed in schools and kindergartens. This tradition of the wake -up dolls, which are available in the form of pretzels, ensures additional enthusiasm among the children and symbolizes sharing and charity.
