In a radiant ceremony, exceptional personalities were honored for their tireless commitment! District Administrator Dorothea Schäfer presented the badge of honor to four outstanding citizens who have decisively shaped the club life in their communities. "The awarding of the badge of honor recognizes the extraordinary commitment of the honored, who have sustainably enrich the community with their efforts," she emphasized with pride.
The Pozaroszczyk couple from Staecken-Eelsheim stands out among the honored! Hannelore Pozaroszczyk has been a fixture in the Turn- und Sportverein TSVgg Staecken-Eelsheim since the 1980s, where she acted in various roles, including as a trainer, and took on important organizational tasks. Her husband Reinhard was active as a footballer and played a central role in the new building of the clubhouse, while at the same time filling out numerous board positions. Together they decisively shaped club life!

Christopher Baldauf from Grolsheim is another radiant hero of the honorary ceremony. He has been a sports official for over 30 years, and as chairman of TuS 1892 Grolsheim, he is a driving force behind the successful SG Gensingen/Grolsheim syndicate. With passion, he also works as a youth coach for the next generation!
Another hero is Klaus Bechler from Gunterblum, who has been in the local council since 1976! His commitment ranges from local politics to the volunteer fire brigade, where he served as deputy military leader for many years. As the founder of the trade association and initiator of the Christmas market, he has shaped the community sustainably. His participation in the "Rotkehlchen" volunteer initiative for the tourist upgrading of the region is also an impressive proof of his commitment!
