Art and sound: Kristina Weiss inspires in Ludwigshafen!

Mundenheimer Straße 252, 67061 Ludwigshafen, Deutschland - The Lauth Gallery in Ludwigshafen becomes the scene of a fascinating connection between art and music! Kristina Weiss, a talented artist from Berlin who also works in Munich, shows her latest works in the exhibition "Tones - Sounds - White Rausch". This unique presentation is not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the ears, because white is not only a painter, but also studied musicologist and plays the violin!

The works that were mostly created this year have sonorous titles such as "From A Score" and "Ready to Play". At first glance, they seem to show grades, but on closer inspection these illusions disappear again. Kristina Weiss ’art is less than a half -concrete and challenges the viewers to emotionally deal with the pictures. Her work is a game with materials - from paper and linen to acrylic and wax - and create a reduced but multi -layered aesthetics. The almost exclusive use of black and white increases the impression of the reduction, while the complexity of the works always enables new discoveries.

unique style and personal note

gallery owner Werner Lauth, who discovered white on the art of Karlsruhe, is enthusiastic about the ease and depth of her work. He appreciates the small imperfections that give the pictures character - the material flashes out on the edges of the canvases, which is Lauth as charming. "It fell right away," he says of his encounter with the artist. The exhibition can be seen until November 30th in the Lauth Galerie, Mundenheimer Straße 252. The opening times are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. An absolute must for art and music lovers!
