BASF starts exciting holiday programs for young chemical enthusiasts!

Ludwigshafen, Deutschland - On January 10, 2025, BASF announced the introduction of new holiday programs in school laboratories in Ludwigshafen for 2025. The programs are aimed at children and adolescents between the ages of 8 and 18 and offer a variety of opportunities for practical examination of scientific topics.

A highlight of the new offers is the holiday program of the Teens ’Lab Oberstufe, which will take place during the Easter holidays from April 14th to 17th, 2025 and deals with fragrances and flavors. 20 places are available for this program, and the application deadline ends on March 14, 2025. Interested pupils of the upper school who attend a chemical course at a school in the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region can apply. Here the focus is on the subject of soil and biodiversity, whereby 140 places are available and the registrations start on May 14, 2025.

In addition, Family workshops organized every fourth Saturday of the month under the title "Prima Climate!" Due to the high demand, the capacities were increased for 2025, and registrations are possible up to a maximum of three months in advance. A special offer is the Kids ’Lab Girls’ Day on April 3, 2025, which is intended for girls from 5 to 7 class and are available for 60 places.
