Pirmasens, Deutschland - A top -class spectacle! The U21 of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern won on Friday, November 15, 2024, with an impressive 3-0 at the FK Pirmasens, which had been unbeaten until then, thus catapulted to the top of the table of the Oberliga Rhineland-Palatinate/Saar. Angelos Stavridis shone with two goals, while Marius Bauer also hit the mark. A triumph that lets the young team shine in bright light for the first round final!

The game started with a technical shock: the referee technology failed and the game had to be briefly interrupted. But as soon as the ball was back in the game, Tobias Jänicke made the first big chance for Pirmasens, but shot past the goal. The Lautrers were not put off and took the lead in the 12th minute due to a free kick from Stavridi. The hosts had a chance of eating, but the young devils stayed on the pusher.
