FCK fans celebrate sold-out New Year's reception in Steinalben!

FCK fans celebrated the first New Year's reception in Steinalben last weekend. Organized by the fan regions of Southwest Palatinate and Kaiserslautern/Sickinger Höhe, the event was sold out. The journey to the Moosalbhalle was accompanied by many FCK signets. An security service ensured a caught course of the event.

The program of the evening included numerous highlights, including appearances by FCK legends, a tasting with Betze sausage, the Palatinate song and the master bowl. A total of 65 fan clubs with more than 3,500 members were represented in the two regions. The idea for the New Year's reception has been planned for a long time, with Steinalben being chosen by the FCK fan club "Loyal Lucifer" due to its central location and the organization.

commitment to social projects

The income of the event benefits the SOS Children's Village Kaiserslautern. In addition, paintings with FCK motifs were auctioned in favor of the Rwanda aid. Throwing cans with logos from KSC and Waldhof Mannheim as well as the auction of signed jerseys provided additional fun. The FCK Museum was also on site and presented memorabilia, including Ronnie Hellström, and offered the opportunity for autographs from Sepp Stabel, the former goalkeeper of the FCK. The championship shell from the 1990/91 season was available for photos.

The artist Stefan Niederlechner made a wooden devil's head available for the fan club "Luschdische Alde Deipel". Due to the positive response, a repetition of the event is considered. Discussions about playing players and rumors were also conducted among the fans, emphasizing that the FCK would never go under.

The Kusel fan region has existed since 1989 and currently comprises 20 fan clubs with almost 1,000 members. The fan club "Der Lebenshilfe Kusel e.V." is a special club that consists exclusively of disabled members. This fan region is also known for its social engagements, such as the organization of trips to home and the support of the association "Children of Polessje - a future according to Tschernobyl e.V." since 1994, as well as for various annual events such as summer festivals and away games.
