Walter Zirker, a committed citizen from Jockgrim, secured a place on September 30, 2024 at the Mount of the Association of the Association of Equal Opportunities. The decision was made just one week after the first meeting of the new association council - a quick action that indicates the urgency of the concern!

The equality office, originally launched in 2004, is now continued on a voluntary basis. Last year, the community found that the predecessor, Heidi Gruber, would not compete for re -election. This brought Walter Zirker into play, who was the only applicant not only ready, but also had over 20 years of experience in personnel policy and an unshakable will for equality. Mayor Karl Dieter Wünst expressed his joy: "Women are often disadvantaged. Walter Zirker will play a key role with his competence and motivation!"
