Free oven driver's license: This is how the Südpfalz heats efficiently and sustainably!

The districts of southern Weinstraße (Süw) and Germersheim as well as the city of Landau set a strong sign of environmentally friendly heating! Just in time for the start of the winter, a free online course is offered, which enables wood-fired oven owners to acquire their “stove driver's license”. This is not only a great opportunity, but also a necessity, because many ask questions such as: How much wood do I need? How can I operate my oven efficiently? This training, which takes place on the Oven Academy platform, conveys exactly the answers that every wood -fired oven owner needs!

The district councilors Dietmar Seefeldt and Dr. Fritz Brechtel and Mayor Lukas Hartmann emphasize the importance of this initiative: "Efficient heating not only protects the wallet, but also the environment!". Participants learn how to reduce their wood needs by up to a third and at the same time reduce soot formation. This means fewer pollutants in the air and a better quality of life in your own apartment. A clear profit for everyone!

To take part in the free course, simply visit the website www.ofenakademie.de/suedpfalz . An access code can be requested there, and you can start! The places are limited and are awarded in the "greyhound process" - quick action is required! The course comprises about 90 minutes and deals with topics such as efficient fuel use, low -emission heating as well as safety and maintenance of the furnace.

After successfully completing the course, the participants have the chance to receive the coveted "oven driver's license" and take part in a raffle. You can win day tickets for the Südpfalz-Therme in Bad Bergzabern and the wild and hiking park Südliche Weinstraße.
