Berg, Deutschland - A spectacular event in the heart of Berg: The Carnevalverein Rot-Weiß "The Gäßeknie" celebrated its 66th anniversary with a magnificent coronation ceremony! President Sebastian Hauser opened the celebrations with the words: "66 years - that's really true". The crowd in the crowded "Farenstadel" was electrified when Marcel Scherrer's new song "Gäßeknie Zeit" celebrated its premiere and brought the mood to cook.
After the emotional farewell to the previous couple of princes Wolfgang II and Gwen I, the secret of the new sovereignty was revealed. Prince Guido I and Princess Olivia I were crowned with new cloaks! Olivia Steinhauer, 54 years old and active in the Carneval Association for 44 years, has an impressive family tradition: her mother Gisela was a founding member and the association's first princess.
