Terrible accident on B 62: three injured after overtaking maneuvers!

A shocking traffic accident shaked the B 62 between Betzdorf and knowledge on Friday afternoon, October 25, 2024! At 4:20 p.m. there was a dramatic crash in the Hövels-Wingertshardt area, which demanded several injuries. In the case of an overtaking maneuver, two cars touched, which led to a terrifying collision.

The Opel Astra of one of the vehicles involved crashed several times against a rock face and thus challenged the rescue workers. All three inmates of the cars were bought of injuries - two of them seriously, but fortunately not life -threatening. The fire brigades from Wallmenroth, Betzdorf and Katzwinkel were immediately alerted, which were hurried to the scene of the accident with 30 emergency services. An emergency doctor and two ambulances were also ready to support the local association of the DRK.
