Mosaic of cultures inspires 800 visitors in Cochem-Zell!

On June 16, the mosaic of cultures took place in the Cochem-Zell district, which attracted around 800 visitors. This great response shows the interest and willingness of people to deal with different cultures and religions. Numerous clubs and groups presented their traditions and activities, which led to a colorful and inspiring program.

The event not only offered a platform for cultural exchange, but was also an important opportunity to support local institutions. The proceeds of a total of 2,800 euros were distributed to various organizations and clubs. Among the beneficiaries were the Bullay primary school, the IGS Zell Förderverein, the Kunga Rwandahilfe, the Kita Bullay as well as other local initiatives such as the welcome café Zell and the Turkish-Islamic community.

The mosaic of cultures has proven that joint efforts bear fruit. The organizations involved were recognized for their commitment and received financial support, which is essential for their projects and activities. These include the reading project of the Blankenrath primary school and the Freundeskreis emigrant.

In addition, volunteering for Ukraine e.V. Cochem as well as various women's groups, including women from East Africa and the Afghan group of women, was also awarded. This financial support is a sign of appreciation and motivates those involved to continue their important work in the community.
