In the Birkenfeld district, there are exciting changes in fire and disaster protection! Four new managers were appointed to better prepare the region for future dangers. Armin Schneider takes on the role of the training manager of the technical operations management and will take care of the strategic training. The drone relay also has a new head: Michael Graf will in future be responsible for optimal use of state -of -the -art technology for missions.

Another highlight are the two new senior emergency doctors, Doctor Agnes Farnadi and Olgha tvalmikhelashvili. These two experts bring a breath of fresh air to emergency medicine and will make a decisive contribution to improving medical care in crisis situations. There was also a significant change at the event: Matthias König was released from his office of fire and disaster protection in order to fully devote himself to his duties as mayor. Armin Schneider will now also take this important position and ensure that the region is well prepared for threats such as natural disasters, power outages and cyber attacks.
