In Bad Kreuznach, more than 50 committed participants took an impressive walk through the city center on Saturday in order to draw attention to the city's pressing problems. With creative ideas and clear messages that they held on display boards, they demanded more stays and comprehensive urban development. Because the city has big plans: it would like to apply for the State Garden Show 2032! An ambitious goal, but this can only be achieved with a solid basis.

"The chance that a state garden show offers should not be transferred," emphasized Heinz Wonssyld, the owner of the popular Café Wonssyld on Salinenplatz. He is convinced that Bad Kreuznach offers the perfect ambience for a garden show with his Salinental. But the citizens know that they first have to uncover the shortcomings so as not to endanger this unique opportunity. Heike Bruckner, one of the committed participants, even reached the spray can to point out the grievances with a stencil. The message is clear: Bad Kreuznach has to change now to secure the future!

But without the necessary stays and a clear vision for urban development, this dream quickly becomes a nightmare. The Citizens' Walk was not only a demonstration of the engagement, but also a call for cooperation. The city administration is required to take the concerns of the citizens seriously and to work together on a blooming future. Time is pushing and the State Garden Show 2032 could be the key to the turn!
