On Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the B271 in Bad Dürkheim, in which a total of three people were injured. The accident happened around 9:40 a.m. when a 31-year-old driver of a Peugeot disregarded the right of way of an oncoming VW while turning left to Mannheimer Straße and there was a frontal collision.

Due to the impact, both vehicles skidded and touched a waiting Mercedes, whose 67-year-old driver and his passenger were luckily unharmed.
