Wichtelweg in Remagen: winter walk full of discoveries!

On November 16, 2024, the first Wichtelweg was ceremoniously opened in the Remagen Stadtwald. Under the motto "Forest teaching path becomes a Wichtelweg", visitors can now discover 30 lovingly designed elves on a 2.4 kilometer circular route. In this project, which has already met with great interest, around 100 children have participated to create the unique gnome dwellings, as reported. The organizers welcomed numerous families and local representatives to the celebration, and there were many positive feedback from the first visitors.

The Wichtelweg begins not far from the hiking car park on Waldburgstrasse. There is a lot to see in the varied stations: from topics such as Roman past, Rhine romance to bakery and playground that stimulate the imagination and invite you to a winter walk.
