Bergisch Gladbach, Deutschland - The autumn holidays became a creative melting pot for music enthusiasts! At the Bergisch Gladbacher Bib International College, 20 young people experienced an exciting week full of music programming and technical discoveries. Under the guidance of experienced lecturers, they immersed in the world of music production and sound technology and learned how they can create their own pieces of music on the computer. The results? Breathtaking music files instead of dry scores!
The young talents worked on their own tracks for four days. The diversity of the participants was impressive: some already had experience with acoustics and music production, while others get into the matter with playing an instrument or popular apps such as garage band. Even beginners quickly found their place in this new, exciting world and at the end of the week everyone went home with their self -produced songs in various genres. "It was exciting to see how music was created. The lecturers gave me great suggestions to implement my ideas," enthused an enthusiastic participant.Technical know-how for the future
The lecturers Manuel Carlos Lenz and Adalbert Wrrona were enthusiastic about the creativity of the young people and the results of their work. In this intensive week, the participants not only received insights into the basics of sound technology and sample production, but also learned the art of programming melodies, harmonies and beats. Free software like Sonic Pi and FL Studio was used to bring the creative ideas to life. The young people were not only able to create their music, but also lay the foundations for future projects. Who knows, maybe this new hobby will become a profession!
Thanks to the free available software, the talented young music producers can continue their creative journey even after the workshop. The week not only offered a fantastic opportunity to discover one's own musicality, but also a foretaste of possible courses in computer science and sound technology.
