Burscheid. From the daycare year 2025/2026 There are big news for parents in Burscheid, Kürten and Odenthal! The allocation of the childcare places is now being regulated uniformly. The district's youth welfare office has made this important decision to simplify and make the process for all families.

What does that mean specifically? From February 1, 2025, the facilities will send their space directly by email or via the Little Bird award platform to the parents who have registered their children for a care place from August 2025. In order to obtain an offer at all, the parents have to register via Little Bird in good time and have a get -together discussion. A special highlight: Exceptions can be made for siblings in November 2024!

Uniformity for more fairness

The youth welfare committee has decided to ensure a fair and transparent procurement process.
