Christmas magic in Troisdorf: Local residents transform street into festival paradise!
In Elisabethstraße in Troisdorf-Oberlar, a committed circle of residents created a real sea of lights that turns the 210-meter-long road into a festive Christmas road. Despite the lack of traffic -calmed measures, cars in this section now only drive at walking pace, which suggests the rush of visitors. Before the first Advent, about 50 neighbors come to decorate, with many of them come up with creative ideas along with traditional decorations. Over 20 out of 24 trees in the neighborhood are decorated with colorful fairy lights, and every resident has set their own personal Christmas accents, as ksta.de reported.
house facades shine in a festive shine, and the neighbors proudly maintain the common cohesion. The resident Thorsten Simmerkus, who even set up a wooden star built this year with lights in front of his door, explains that the creative spark knows no limits. It is particularly exciting for the children - the lights and the Christmas mood conjure up bright faces. The Christmas jewelry will get stuck on January 6th until at least for the weekend of the Three Kings, since most residents have deliberately decided against a fixed dismantling period. If you want to experience the magical Christmas lights, the atmosphere in the radiant Elisabethstraße attracts numerous visitors, as well as onlineestreet.de
