In a wave of burglaries, unscrupulous perpetrators have struck in Dormagen and Neuss in the past few days! On Thursday, October 31, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:45 p.m., an apartment on the street "Im Damschenpfad" in Dormagen was the destination. The burglars pried open a balcony door, ransacked several rooms and escaped with cash. But that was the beginning!

Another incident occurred on Königsberger Straße in Dormagen, where alleged burglars damaged a window around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1st. It is currently unclear and part of the ongoing investigation whether they made prey. On Friday morning, November 2, between 6:55 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., a house on Rottornweg in Neuss was also hit. Here the perpetrators pried open a window and searched the premises - the investigation is running!

Burglaries on the holiday

On Saturday, November 2, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:50 p.m., another house on Espenstraße in Neuss was the destination. The unknown pretended a terrace door and searched the rooms, stealing jewelry. There was also a break -in at Macherscheider Straße in Neuss between Thursday, 9:00 a.m. and Friday, 12:00 p.m., where personal objects and medication were stolen. The police entrusted the criminal commissioner 14 with the investigation and urgently searches for witnesses!

The darkness becomes the playground of the burglars! To protect yourself, homeowners and tenants should pay attention to a presence simulation, for example through timeline for lighting.
