Hürth shows solidarity: new relief supplies for Ukraine!

The war in Ukraine has been raging almost a thousand days, and the city of Hürth remains a radiant example of solidarity! With tireless use, she supports her twin city of Peremyschljany with urgently needed aid goods. On Tuesday, November 19, another significant delivery was handed over, which focused particularly on medical care.

The help from Hürth is impressive: since the beginning of the conflict, almost 30 saddle trains have been sent to Peremyschljany with vital goods. The support not only includes improving the infrastructure, but also a targeted strengthening of medical care. Among the goods delivered are 59 generators who serve as an emergency generator for hospitals and to ensure the water supply. In addition, an X -ray device, ventilator and hospital beds were provided that are of crucial importance in this crisis situation.

The aid campaign goes on, however! A total of seven vehicles were donated, including a turntable ladder vehicle, a truck with a work platform, a garbage vehicle and a container vehicle. These valuable donations have reached a total value of around 1.4 million euros. Hürth shows that even in dark times, humanity and support should not be missing!
