Future of the Marl City Library: Citizens shape with!
Bergstr. 230, 45768 Marl, Deutschland - The Marl City Library is faced with significant changes, which are to be initiated by an upcoming future workshop. On October 23, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., all interested citizens are invited to participate in the design of the library in the new cultural meeting and experience center Marschall 66. The aim of this event is to develop creative ideas and to meet the wishes of the users.
The questions that are to be discussed at this workshop are extremely relevant. How should the city library adapt to better meet the future needs of the public? Which existing offers are particularly valued and what additional services would the users want? These key points should not only be up for discussion, but should be moderated by an external expert who will structure the creative thoughts of the participants.
Registration for the event
The possibility of registration is up to October 21. Interested parties can register by email to stadtbibliothek@marl.de or by phone at (02365) 99-4200 for the future workshop. Citizens who cannot participate in this date are also invited to address their ideas and proposals to the Office for Culture and Continuing Education. The city hopes for a lively participation and a fertile exchange.
The event takes place in the city library in Bergstrasse 230, 45768 Marl. This initiative reflects the desire to establish the library as a modern space for knowledge and culture that meets the requirements of a constantly changing society. You can find details on this project and for registration on www.lokalkompass.de .
