Criticism of the ex-Schalker: Schubert causes tears in Paderborn!

Paderborn, Deutschland - The SC Paderborn is under pressure after the 1-2 defeat against the Karlsruher SC. After the game, coach Lukas Kwasniok not only criticized the general performance of his team, but also directed his displeasure against the former Schalke goalkeeper Markus Schubert. "A no-go!" Says Kwasniok about the goalkeeper services, which in his opinion contributed decisively to the lost points. After a serious mistake in Schubert, in which the keeper put a ball too far and KSC player Budu Zivzivadze invited to the 2-0 lead, the frustration in the Paderborn camp was clearly noticeable. Kwasniok made it clear that the poor performance of the goalkeepers could have cost a total of six to eight points, which is not wearable for a team with promotion learning, as Ruhr24 reported.

In the press conference after the game, Kwasniok referred to the general lack of quality in the Paderborn squad. Although the team is well placed in the table and only three points away from the top, the trainer sees a need for action: "We lack quality if we want to stay up permanently," announced the 43-year-old without wiring. Since then, Schubert, who celebrated his comeback in October, has not given the impression that he could stabilize the shop. The clear criticism of Kwasniok could mean that new reinforcements, especially for goalkeeper position, may come into play in winter. Kwasniok himself had brought the previously disappointing Pelle Boevink back into goal and increased the pressure on Schubert, as Tag24 reported. The trainer confirmed: "We have to improve qualitatively in order to be competitive in the long term."
