New managing director of the GFO: Jan-Philipp Kasch takes over management!

olpe. In the non-profit company of the Franciscans to Olpe (GFO), there are remarkable changes in the management. Jan-Philipp Kasch, an experienced manager in healthcare, takes over the management.

With effect from October 1, 2024, Jan-Philipp Kasch will direct the fortunes of the Franciscan network in the GFO. This appointment follows the departure of Dr. Christoph Heller in March of this year, which now consists of four members again: Markus Feldmann, Dr. Jörg Kösters, Dr. Barbara Florange and Kasch. This restructuring shows the will of the GFO to reorganize itself in a complex and challenging time.

The new managing director

Jan-Philipp Kasch brings valuable experience into his new position. The 36-year-old studied business administration at the University of Cologne and developed a master's degree in management and healthcare in Munich. His career at the GFO started as a personnel officer in 2013. He has passed various positions over the years, including those of the administrative directorate in the Troisdorf clinics and that of the managing director of the St. Josef Hospital in Engelskirchen as well as the role of the regional director for the Troisdorf and Engelskirchen clinics.

Markus Feldmann, the spokesman for the management, was positive about this reorganization: "With the appointment of Jan-Philipp Kasch, in these times of the upheaval, we strengthen the commercial competence in the network. On the other hand, we also initiate a generation change in the management in the long term."

The GFO not only represents itself in terms of personnel, but also pursues a strategic realignment. Kasch will make a decisive contribution to the business strategy and take care of the further development of the hospitals, which is of particular importance in the current health landscape.

For a successful start in the new tasks, it will be particularly important for Kasch to take into account the existing structures of the GFO and to actively address possible challenges. The change in leadership stipulates that Kasch will bring a breath of fresh air to the strategic considerations of the GFO, which can be an advantage for both employees and patients.

The GFO has established itself in the region as an important health institution. The coming months could be decisive for how the GFO will continue to fill out its role in healthcare. Those responsible are confident that a positive development can be promoted with the new managing director.
