Culture passport for young people: just activate online banking!

From now on, young people can easily activate their cultural pass through online banking. A real game chat for everyone who will be 18 this year!

With the cultural passport, a great project by the federal government, 18-year-olds receive a budget of 100 euros to treat themselves to cultural experiences. Whether search for cinema, concerts, museum or theater visits- the possibilities are limitless! Even books, CDs, records and grades can be purchased with it. The previous hurdles for the activation of the cultural pass, which were only possible through the oath function of the ID card, are now a thing of the past. Thanks to the cooperation between the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media (BKM), access is now easier and barrier-free!

"Our goal is to promote cultural participation and to give young people easy access to cultural experiences," explain the board members of the three savings banks. The integration into online banking makes activating the cultural pass quickly and easily. In order to activate the passport, the users only have to download the Kulturpass app, select their Sparkasse and are then forwarded directly to online banking. After registration and TAN approval, the necessary data such as the name, date of birth and place of residence are transmitted to the cultural pass.
