Inspirational trip: Ironman Andreas Lowly find peace

On Saturday, November 9th, the forum of the municipal high school in Olpe opens its doors for the impressive Caritag under the motto "Peace begins with me". The focus is on the gripping life of the extreme athlete Andreas Lowly, who shares his shattering story "From Junkie to Ironman" with those present and shows how to change his life radically.

From 12 p.m. everyone is welcome to become part of a powerful program that is all about peace and reconciliation. Low, once trapped in the world of drugs and with a heroin addiction, has won the fight against its inner demons and became one of the world's most successful triathletes. With his loaf and soul, paired with unshakable will, he found peace in himself and with his surroundings. "Especially in politically unproofing times, we want to show that it is possible and necessary to contribute to peace and reconciliation," says Nicole Fries-Lehmann, one of the managers of the Caritas Association Olpe.

The event offers a platform for appreciative dialogue and inspiration. Andreas Lowly encourages his moving story to make each individual become an active peace designer - be it in a personal environment, at work or in everyday life. Another highlight of the day is the ceremonial award of the Caritas Innovation Award that rounds off the festive framework.
