Dog Simba exposed in the forest: scandal about animal -loving owners!
In the district of Olpe, an incident around a dog caused outraged reactions. Simba, an approximately six -year -old mixed breed, was exposed to his owner in the forest. The ex-owner apparently planned to emigrate to Thailand, although he obviously did not want to take responsibility for his animal. Instead, he tied Simba to a tree and left it alone.
The dog was discovered by residents and handed over to the regulatory office, which then left it to the Olpe animal welfare association. Nadine Berndt, a spokeswoman for the animal welfare association, reports that the old owner now lives in Thailand and can be assumed that he will not return. "We have reason to assume that Simba was not treated well in its previous way of life," explained Berndt. The search for a new home for the dog has already started, but the animal rights activists fear that Simba has suffered from neglect in the past.
The search for a responsible at home
Simba is described as a friendly but inexperienced dog. It is unsure and has obviously had little positive experiences in the past. Nevertheless, the hybrid is well socialized and gets along well with other dogs. The animal rights activists are now looking for a suitable family for Simba, where they particularly point out that the children in the new family should be more older and stable in order to integrate the lively dog in the best possible way.
The reactions to a Facebook post for Simba's fate are consistently negative. Animal lovers are dismayed by the behavior of the former owner. Comments such as "disgusting what people can do to their animals" and "at least he would have tried to find a new home" reflect the horror in the community. Such incidents are also responsible for the responsibility that pet owners have towards their animals, especially in crisis situations or life changes.
Interestingly, a similar story recently made the round. The dog Milli was suspended in a box because nobody wanted to take care of them anymore. In Plettenberg, too, a dog was saved by the fire brigade from an overheated car - another sign of how little carelessly some owners deal with the living conditions of their animals.Simba now has the chance of a better life, while the animal rights activists do everything they can to find a loving home. "We will do our best to bring Simba to a family that gives him the security and love he deserves," said Berndt at the end. Complaints about the irresponsibility of pet owners are more than just an outcry - they are a request to take and protect the needs of our animal friends seriously.
