Maiworm, a true hero of his homeland, has campaigned for the preservation and further development of his community for decades.

The committed Rüblinghauser has contributed significantly to the construction of a new sports field with grandstands and expanded and renovated the clubhouse. Since 2011, as a local home car, he has been running a detailed village chronicle that is published online. But that's just the tip of the iceberg! Maiworm was also one of the initiators of the newly opened mine art hiking trail in the Rhonard and has created numerous documentaries that preserve the history of Olpes and its villages for posterity.
